Bill calls Ivy his, "Ivy Ivy." She still runs to him when he comes home and he loves to tease and tickle her. We think she may be the one of our kids that inherited Bill's healthy appetite for adrenaline. They dance together. Bill spins her and she twirls and twirls.
Yesterday Bill was telling Faith how important science and math are - and how much more important they are than any of the other subjects she takes. Again. She's heard this speech enough that I giggled a little bit as she ignored him. If there is a hard job to do, he takes Faith to do it with him. When Bill got a ticket in California for not wearing his seat belt, Faith took one of his shirts and taped duct tape across it like a seat belt and pinned it up in the garage where he could see it so he would remember to wear his seat belt.
Bill likes to show Will silly videos on youtube and get new dance moves for him off of youtube as well. Will loves it when they go camping together. So far that only happens at the ward Fathers and Sons Campouts, but Will really loves the guy time together. If one of them jumps in the pool with their clothes on, then the other does too. They both love that!

This makes me wonder if they both jumped in the pool right after having their picture taken. Will looks positively thrilled to be taller than his dad in this picture.
Faith: ah . . the girl who can do hard things. The one who can handle any subject. Why does it look like she had a selective sunburn? Lake Mead day?
Ivy is a maniac in all the best ways. Adrenalin is awesome stuff. Plus, she's good medicine for both of her parents.
I love this. It's so cute. I may have to steal the idea for my husband and kids.
I loved finding out how Bill and your kids have such individual relationships and how they love each other.
Super post!
Don't you feel blessed that your kids have such a fine father?! I do! It's one of the things that makes home a GREAT place to be. YEAH Bill!
