We've had a fun time in Logandale so far with Papa Fred. When we got into town we turned on the water and the heat, then went to run errands. Our first stop was at Jake Jacobsen's house near the Overton Airport. Dad has known him for years from the Provo airport, and just a few weeks ago, he gave Dad a jump to start the Bonanza in Overton so Dad could fly home to Utah.
Will and Ivy enjoyed his driveway - spinning in the sand and making patterns with their footprints. Ivy even wrote "Guten tag" in the sand (and who even knew that she knew that phrase?)
After Jake's house, we were hungry so we went to The Inside Scoop for lunch, which I had never done before. It was just as Dad said it would be, "Good food, long wait."
After lunch we went grocery shopping and home for a nap (I'm pretty sure that I was the only one that napped.) Later we went to see Lloyd Stratton and in the evening Lin and Beth Kitchen came for a visit.

All that sun and sand. Maybe it was as good as the beach.
