2.) Patience and stuff - we all got some clothes for Christmas (that's the stuff part) and I also got hair that is too blonde. I am trying to embrace it and not tell my students, "Let's not talk about my hair," when we get back to school.
3.)Much needed time to relax. We spent the vast majority of the day on Christmas in our pajamas doing various activities eating goodies. We're trying to get bored enough to go back to school in a week!
4.) Family time together which included looking like freaks, electric shocks, and whips as well. We have a couple -years old tradition of Christmas family face masks (which made us all look like freaks) and Joel gave us a new "game" called Shocktato. We got videos of Faith cracking her new whip on Christmas morning that were super fun too!
5.) Laughing. We have a family gift exchange on Christmas Eve. Faith gave Ivy and Luna matching froggie hoodies. Luna was a very good sport.

You never know what treasures are going to show up if you just keep looking! Your tree is hilarious, as were the froggy hoodies. Faith is a wonderful girl for getting a whip and liking it. I hope she has lots of real life uses for it kind of like Indiana Jones.
It’s so much better to see the photo of the Christmas masks, rather than just getting a description. You are so cool for offering me a chance at that.
